Those hens are beautiful, but I would love to have a picture of that rooster on my wall. He is striking even with dirt on his face

Well, usually when I put something in their pen area it is edible, so I guess they figure sand was just another treat. They have lots of calcium available free choice but oddly they rarely eat it. I guess sand just tastes better! Ask any toddler!
