I had to stop by our TSC the other day to get chick grit......well I made a bee line straight to the chick area. Thank God they didn't have chicks.....only baby ducks. Then I found out they didn't have the grit either. We have about 35 baby chicks in brooder so my thinking was I could sneak in a few more and hubby wouldn't know. They are hard to count when they are running around like crabs on a beach.

So, now I have to go back to get the grit....and maybe some extra little fuzzy butts.

I had to go to TSC for dog shampoo because of course no place else in town sells that right?! But no chicks!

I was planning on slipping just a couple or three or four more into the brooder with the other 6. Girl at the cash register didn't know when they will get more and the one I called later thinks in a week or two! That's way to long.

Maybe I'll call again today and see if I get a different answer!

wow im not the only one huh. every time i go to the feed store its like they just got chicks in. and everytime i walk out with at least 10. the other day i got lucky ni chicks yayyy im not gonna bring home anything extra except all of a sudden i here a crowing from the docks the owner had brought in 2 bigggggggg niccce buff orp. roosters to sell in his store. well i bought them both hahaha but heck of a deal for 3 bucks each. very high quality lol. so much for not bringin anything home. they get me every time somehow. its l;ike they know. hmmmmm

hehe, I was there last night to pick up some bedding and feed, well they were out of feed, should be getting a shipment in this week some time....But they had 3 bins of chicks. The only bummer is that I can only get 2 more, and TSC has a sign that says only 6 or more chicks.

Dh saw I was a little bummed out and asked what I would do with the other 4 that we wouldn't keep. I told him we could probably sell them on craigslist for cost.

He didn't say much but at breakfast this morning he asked if we should tell the kids about going back to the store to pick up some more chicks. What a sucker he is for me, and what an addiction I have for those fuzzy little butts!!!

OOhhh jealouss!!!!!

So I went to TSC, the few they had left were meaties

The lady did say that they would have more in the morning, that it was confirmed or something like that and they've never had any problem with their shipments. Blah blah blah. So they open at 8 and I will be there waiting

I also went to the other 2 feed stores (I'm desperate, okay? LOL) and all I found were ducks and more meaties. Tomorrow is the day! Oh and I will have cash...good idea!
