Gads I have been to TSC twice and not bought chioks. Now i have to go this week to buy cat food since they only carry the brand I like. I have 25 chicks coming in at this end of this month and they are all one breed but... I would real like a few EE's just for fun. I also need to buy a tub to hold these guys in as I have nothing here at the house big enough for 25 chicks. I really hope though do not have any chicks when I go to buy cat food.

I wish you guys all had the kind of choices we have- our Orscheln's gets chicks from just a couple of hours away, and they get 8-15+ breeds at a time, 25-300 of the breed, depending on what popularity/rarity.

Yesterday they had EE's, mixed 'Rare Breeds' and a boatload of different cuties- Polish, Banties, Australorps, Orps, and loads of others...fortunately I'm constrained by the NO ROOSTER thing, so I wasn't able to hit a lot of those bins, since they were straight run.

I just wish you guys all had the same options! They get this kind of shipment in every week, Mon-Thurs, so I can count on seeing something different every day. Yesterday they had a Turken and a blue frizzle cochin banty- sky blue! It was clearly a roo, so I got out of there safe.

Anyone want to put in an order? I'll grow something for someone if they want to come to town to get it
