Where is the red paint to throw on her and mark her for what she is.... oh brother!

Thank you for posting that though because I don't feel like having to go through what you had to.

Mark her with a scarlett letter-the A for Agressive, not adultery.

I want to laugh

but this is really more of a
hit.gif
that we would have to even worry about something like this happening.

I'm in the same boat. I'm currently trying to "retrain" a 19 week old pullet, who has decided she can bite me when I reach for her and wing dance at me. She gets even more holding/petting than the other one in an attempt to get her to settle down.

When my coop is done, she'll be integrated with others, including a rooster, so maybe that will make her snap outta her "I'm the queen" attitude.

Had a teen banty hen that would spur at my hand like a rooster and bite me. Not peck, but bite and hang on, shaking her head like a dog! We named her Feisty. We just picked her up and pet her, (not aggressive then) and after a while quit the biting. Think she just needed to grow up. Now she's much calmer- time ( and a stick) may be your best friend.

Be careful about where you tell your chicken control theories. Someone on here put it on their facebook page that they used a ball bat (I think, didn't read the whole thing, but that is what the general story came out to be when the cops knocked on her door!!!) to control her rooster and talk about hitting the fan. . .just kiddin' about on here, but if that didn't take the cake!!!! People need to read more and mind their own business instead of getting everything out of context.

I hope your girl will settle down... Great ideas. Much better than --my dh hanging a frying pan on the fence to help remind my (ex) roo that if he didn't straighten up, he was coming to dinner! LOL
