So... I want to make a Crock Pot Incubator...

Do you have a sieve that would fit on top like a lid and cover with a light towel maybe?
Being small I'd think when hatching starts it'll be plenty humidity. If you want to add humidity maybe a cotton ball?

Right now humidity is around 50% without me having to add anything. I think I'll experiment a bit on day 18 to see whether I can hit 70%. Cotton ball sounds good :) for the top I could maybe just use the crockpot lid. it's glass and has a small hole for ventilation. I'll have to check whether I would be losing too much heat that way. another idea is to line it with a mylar sheet with a window cut out for viewing. This is also one of those things I should have tested pre-incubation. Alas. lol

That was going to be my thought as suggestion.
You can put a towel over the top lid in case you think you are loosing heat. :idunno
