So I went to get a kitten and came home with this...*UPDATE AGAIN #1*

If it is parvo, it doesn't mean she won't survive. I had a hound pup with parvo and she pulled through it amazingly well. Feed her very lean meat that has been ground up (venison or lamb) and boiled rice. It will help with the diarrhea and keep her strength up. She will probably need a fluid IV though. Also, I'd separate her from the other dogs. She's in my prayers...

She is gorgeous! .... do hope she gets better....

to Mocha....

Parvo is bad but not hopeless. A friend and I had successs with 7-Up and Gerber baby food meat. We saved an entire litter that she couldn't afford to take to the vet. I also adopted two sick puppies from a neighbor and the vet administered a vaccine. I remember he specifically said live or killed but I can't remember which (twenty years ago). They both grew to be large, healthy dogs.
All the best, Kate

You CAN judge a country by how it treats its animals. I do hope the pup is eating and drinking good now. I haven't seen nearly as much parvo here(usa) as there was in the '90s. I hope the shelters are neutering whatever critters they can. GOOD LUCK.

Mochabella is going to be ok!!!
