First try to incubate and was going into lock down on Sunday Saturday night we lost power and it just came back up so I checked the eggs and 3 were there but stupid power. I am setting some more today and have a back up power plan in place getting fuel for generator

Oh bummer! I'm wondering what people do if they do lose power. A few hours would be harmful??

I am so sorry. [IMG] It happened to me, too. I lost dozens of eggs. You can pick up a power converter that runs off your car battery.

Quote:THis happened to use too. Irene! No power for 5 days. We used the convert for the car battery BUT the car needs to be run every 2-3 hours so as to not drain the battery. DH and I debated my sleeping in the car to run it every few hours over night. But in the end DH packed up the eggs and took them to work and hatched them. HIs first time. ANd he loved the little fuzz balls.

Sorry you lost them, best luck next go.[IMG]
