Parts end up on Ebay and the local Craigslist a lot.

I agree, keep a close eye on these two sites, searching for parts for that year/make/model, bet you can find your thief.​

i suppose if i found someone with all the parts that would be them, but then the police won't do anything about it. and i'm certainly not going to take the law into my own hands without solid evidence.

but i will look maybe just to get a number and think about what i might do.
