so my rooster has wry butt

my brown leghorn holds his tail feathers at a perfect 90 degree angle to the side. i cant feel broken bones and no signs of pain. he has been doing this for about a month. i can give him a little backrub and it will line up straight tell he starts walking then flops back to the side. this does not seem to bother him but upsets my wife any help identifying is appreciated

Without photos it's just a guess, and sounds like wry tail. If I read the info on this condition correctly it is genetic.

There are several threads here on BYC discussing wry tail, I quickly looked at a couple and didn't see any treatments suggested. Hopefully these help.
