So sorry to hear of your loss. I've lost a few favorite chickens in the past 6 months and last week, my pet peahen, Buddy. I cried for days. I understand how painful the loss of our feathered pets is. May Randy come back as a new favorite chick of yours.

preferably as another buff orpington. I started with 8 of them over two years ago and only have 6 left. I really love that breed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so wish I could try that but we have no rooster, we are not allowed. That would have been perfect and boy if that egg was fertile or even possibly fertile, I would have the incubator started or even one of my 3 broodies sitting on it right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
