So....talk about.....CANCER SUPPORT THREAD !!

I am like Ranchhand, at a loss for words most of the time. But I want all of you to know you are prayed for daily. I cannot imagine the frustration...........you are more blessed by being the women you are right now. We all admire you and wish only the best for each of you. We would take away your pain and heartache if we could, just know that.
Dog's name is great. I use hand signals when training my dh's pup and my own every time I give a command. Then they can do it without us saying anything..now that is the outside dogs. Inside dogs are a mess

I think it is wonderful for this thread to be here on the BYC forums....now anyone who is fighting cancer, or has a loved one who is, can come for support, information, encouragement, prayers or good thoughts....and most especially to share laughter as well as tears with your friends.

Many good thoughts and even more prayers going up for you, Coyote.

Sssheeesh! I was around here somewhere today, lol. Spent a good part of the day tearing down the chicken pens/dog kennel panels so that we can finish the run for the pups. Kandu will probably be here either by the end of the month or the first part of Nov. Working out getting him vetted and then transported here.

Katie is doing good. We have the problem with chasing daytime shadows under control. It's the car lights dancing on the house at night at night that we are still having problems with. I made Lurchie work with her last Saturday at PetSmart. He's the spoiler!! He has difficulty correcting her bad behaviors. Wants me to squirt her with the squirtbottle when she misbehaves, he even pick one up. "She won't like me if I do that" Trainer gave him a talking to, lol. He's not allowed to let her jump on him if he is standing nor is he allowed to let her chew/mouth on him. When she does it, I tell him to tell her no but he always says, "It's Ok" No it's not! Thankfully the trainer got through to him. Thick headed ex-marine!

Tomorrow I see the surgeon and on Thursday I see the oncologist. I'll give ya'll an update when I find out what we are going to do. I'm ready to get this ball rolling!!

How's the radiation going Luna?

Glad your hanging in there Coyote. Radiation itself is fine and dandy, it's the waiting part sometimes....

tonight was fine - I got there, got done and left. But last night......was a bad night. I got there for 6:30 and sat in my gown until 8:45

frustrating. When I got home I found DH on the kitchen floor, I almost had a heart attack! He was OK except his back did a spasm of some kind and he just collapsed right there and couldn't move.

He's better now, but what a fright! A lot of crap happening lately - don't you agree? I know, just bumps in the road...........or pimples on your back or whatever.........

Awww, geez Ginny, they were running 2 hours behind? I know sometimes delays are unavoidable but sometimes it seems as tho med offices do not run in a way that respects that patients do have other commitments. And then to get home and find you DH leveled! Glad he's okay now...

All the best today Coyote.

Hi all, new to the forum. I have not read all 118 pages of this thread but I will give my prayers to all of you here that are fighting cancer. I know how it feels when you get the bad news because I am a cancer survivor. I have been cancer free for 2 years now and I hope I remain that way. 2008 was a really bad year for me. I was 44 years old and diagnosed with cancer in my right eye. Had that operated on and was feeling good about it when I was diagnosed with stage 3 skin cancer. After 2 more operations things were looking up and then my wife of 20 years left me and our children for an old high school sweetheart. Boy I hate the year 2008. Anyway you have to keep up the fight. I wish all of you the best in your fight with cancer. I am still fighting and will have to do so the rest of my life.
