I was sent a wonderful story today in email. How about the name "Cashew"?! You could call her "Cash" for short.

I have an almost 16 y.o. Pomeranian. When she dies, I'm not getting another dog.* I have 4 cats, a small fish tank and 7 chickens and a house full of plants. I love my dog very much, but she's at the age where if she has to pee she has to pee! So when I come home from work I go directly to the utility closet to get my mop. It's OK, little dogs do little puddles.

deerman, and many more!

Coyote, you made us laugh with the butterb*t*h.
Cashew would be a great name, except i have such serious allergies i say 'casheww' way too much. she'd be forever confused. I think it is a really great direction to go though... maybe we can call her butternut. it is rather pumpkinish. and then we can slowly move her to...nut? that might not be good.

I'll post pics when we get her and you can let me know what suits her. I feel badly that I usurped my son's puppy experience. but we made some serious eye contact, and I can go back on that now.

luna, nature abhors a vacuum. Lose a dog- gain a dog. you really have no say in it.
