3 is it getting as bad as that year ya'll had all those wildfires down there? I was in Yeehaw Junction (Gaawwwd, it was ages ago) worked for a program called Vision Quest that had a ranch down there. We spent days moving horses and kids because of the fires. So so dry

Nurse--hope you are having a great post chemo day.

Orph--You've got the right attitude! It's just a thing. My friendgirl is having a ruff time of the old Mean-opause. Thought she had come to the end. NOPE she was back to having a monthly cycle. Then nothing again after 6months Back and forth. I had the plumbing removed in '04. Best thing I ever did!!!!

LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNA!!! Where is you?!

And what did you do with JJ?

ETA--I'm going to get in trouble for this one, lol Hot Flash!

I managed to get injured again and now have a broken wrist and ribs, so have been slowwwwwwwww but am sending boatloads of good wishes to all. .

(Last summer was indeed fierce - hope you (and we) - get spared this time around from relentless heat. It is 94 grizzly degrees as I type this and I'm so worried about BJ and Ellie with the heat hitting hard and fast - being at work, I can only hope they are okay....can't wait to get back to check on them but it will be hours before I can.....).

Hi Ginny, hi everybody

I think I just about melted making sure everybody had water! Put a fan is the shed with the EE chicklets. Even with both doors open they were panting their little beaks off!! 94* on the shady side of the backporch!!

Katie and Icee just had frozen yogurt! REAL frozen yogurt. Took and ice cube tray, sprayed it with Pam, spooned in some Fage' Greek yogurt, and popped it into the freezer yesterday. The cubes popped right on out & the girls are loving it!!!

Hello everyone! Thanks so much Deb for posting my other thread and Coyote for pointing me this way

I'm calling first thing in the morning to find out the drugs that they will be giving my dad and I'm sure I will be asking plenty of questions to the amazing people of BYC. Me and my dad are very optimistic that this will work to cure him and set everything in his body right again. I think he is more optimistic because he goes to a teaching hospital and always gets the young pretty nurses

It's really scary dealing with this because I've never had to deal with anything medical ever. We have been very lucky and have a healthy family. He doesn't understand a lot of what they tell him because he is and old farmer. High school didn't matter because he was raised by farmers and knew that's what he was going to be and he's very happy being blissfully ignorant of all things technology (he just got a cell phone 2 years ago and that's a lot). I'm nervous because I understand what they are telling him and I really wish I had no clue. I know we can get through it all though, we laugh to much and are to happy to be anything but alright.
