5 pounds! 5 POUNDS! in a couple of months! Seriously......I've gained freakin 30 pounds since June    I'm not kidding.....with all the steroids they gave me for the chemo, and the hormones they put me on to halt my monthly cycle, plus having NO nausea with chemo and stress/boredom eating. Oh, and the lovely Baptist church ladies who lovingly fed me and my family while I was sick--those ladies can cook!

Lol I know from my last cancer surgery 4/10/13 I gain 47 pounds every time I had a dr appointment or a port flush they would weigh me and the number keep going up and up I freaked out and ask for diet pills they laugh and said no Iam kinda limited on what I can do do to the nerve pain from the chemo it's has been a year since my last chemo and my feet are still killing me they feel like they are broken

Beth is now dropping at a steady rate of about 2 pounds each week. I am still stress eating, but have managed to not gain any more..... Her mom had a focal motor seizure on Thursday, we thought is was another stroke so she got an ambulance ride. She is back home on more meds now. As she still thinks she is with us so she can take care of Beth..... Silly MIL...

Weight is not worth worrying about right now.
I say I would need chocolate, cheese cake, and baked potato with all the cholesterol on top.

Its all good. We do our best to take it all in stride. Beth has started to experience some halucinations, or so she calls them. The other day she asked me if there was a car in the family room.....I told her no, and she said that it looked weird for a car to be in the family room, but it looked cool so she went with it.... She laughed and said it looked like a fast car....

Beth continues to decline. The hospice team has been very supportive, and they feel it will only be a matter of a few weeks now.

She is doing OK. We have long talks while out with the chickens, and watching the chicks. I have tough girls. they take after their Mom.
