Don't be in a big rush to do all the things you know you should not and eat right. Let everyone pray for you and thank God those prayers will be answered. I will pray for you and your family too.

I decided I needed a 2nd opinion.... met that dr. on tues. he wants to go over some of my results and get back with me.

I've been changed yet again with my meds... we have not find the right mix for me. I'm extremely fatigued and my muscle/joints are stiff and ache. Also found I'm low in vitamin D so I am taking suplements for that and that can cause complaints like I have. So give it some time and we'll see... oh and will start cardiac rehab again soon and physical therapy for the aches and pains. Thanks for carin!

great... now that song "take it easay.... take it eeeeeasay..." is in my mind. who's responsible???

Low Vitamin D is believed to be the cause of many health issues with women. Depression, Breast Cancer, Fibro, Cardiac issues are all related to low D. Even though we may drink Vit. D fortifed milk, it doesn't do us any good without one key factor that helps our bodies use that D.

Sunlight! According to my endocrinologist (he was named a Top Doc on a Fibro and Thyroid board. I love him!! He listens!!) a body needs a minimum of 15minutes of sun exposure per day to make that Vit D useful to the body. Also that is 15minutes of exposure of the skin to the sun without the use of sun screen. It's in the skin that the body does it's thing with Vit D. It can be filtered sunlight but the sun screen blocks too much of a certain type of light that the body needs.

In addition, exposure to certain light on the eyes lowers symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder, S.A.D. a seasonal form of depression, aka the winter blahs!

I take a 3500mg D cap. once a week and my D is still borderline. Makes you wonder....... I've got S.A.D.too

sure does make you wonder...

I don't wear sunscreen. I have not gotten sun on my skin because of the winter. and yep... the blahs.

and mine was 18 when normal peoples are between 30-80... what a huge range.
