So....talk about.....CANCER SUPPORT THREAD !!

Coyote, my husband calls that ''going off list.''

We had a cat that looked like that. She was called 'lightning'. She went with the dog named 'Shadow'.
I had nothing to do with either names. I married into them.

how do the dog /cat relations take to the new kitty?

Not real well at the moment. I don't know how long he has been out on his own, but he grows at Katie, lol. She could eat him in one gulp but he thinks he is a bad arse! Right now I have him in the master bath (sleeping in the sink, lol) The Terrible Trio have camped out on the opposite side of the door sniffing. Plucky Lucky keeps sticking his paws under the door but Ingles hasn't responded back. Lucky got into the bathroom once and Ingles just puffed all up like a Halloween cat. Lucky is completely harmless. He's like one of those big poofy things that you dust with, without the sick however, lol. I'm hoping to get his, ah, hmm, "Tonsils"!, yeah, "Tonsils" taken care of in a week or 2 and that will settle him down as well.

Tonsillectomy tom. Well, I think in a house full of deaf cats, blind and deaf dogs...he need to have some handicap. We don't want him taking advantage and sneaking up on them...he'll not be sneaking any time soon anyway. He'll cool down. He is just bewildered. The tonsillectomy will really bewilder him.
We had a dog that had misbehaved right before we put her into the car to take her to the vets to be spayed.
...she never acted up again.
It was just circumstance, but I still feel that she thought we over reacted.

Sadie is a great dog. She is picking up on the knowledge that the older dog is giving her very quickly. I needed a dog to pay attention to me when I am working and I lose track of time. I over heat or have an allergic reaction and get so involved with what I am doing that I just do not realize what's going on. She has that skill already to get my attention. I pay attention to my dogs better than I do my watch.

although...herb bed, flower bed, dog bed...not so good on the distinctions.

That's one lucky little cat! He reminds me of a little guy I had years ago.
