250 lb bucks are here in the northern states........check this link for 400 to 500 lb whitetail bucks...i know not normal

See I truly don't understand this.Since the economy is BAD, and deer are way overpopulated WHY aren't more people taking the entire amount they can each season. It's the cheapest meat you're going to get right?

I asked somebody this the other day and they said , cuz peope are LAZY. I just can't believe that's it. I live in a rural area and have 7 acres. I have TONS of deer that I see almost every day when I feed in the moring and at dusk. But I have YET to see a buck, I just see does with 1/2 grown fawns.

I don't think its because they are lazy. I think it is because they are squeamish.

Too few of us are willing to face what eating meat means. I think it is part of the circle of life and the hunter thanks the deer for his life and for feeding us. He hunts spiritually and responsibly and nothing is wasted. It beats the deer losing a battle with a car and being left on the side of the highway.
