Yeah I have never seen a purebred in person and these had all the look and I’m still learning and was worried about expanding my flock before the two roosters I already had got bad. The fourth Wilkie mix is a roo tooMaybe it was an honest mistake as far sexing them went. If you have ever seen purebred Silkies you could have called that yourself. They are still pretty cool though. My sister has a bunch of chickens with watered down Silkie genes and I love going and seeing what kind of crazy looking babies they make. I figure they will start getting crazy after a while and looking like feral hens. If he did lie I have no idea why. Whenever my sister needs to downsize on roosters she just takes them to the flea market and sells them as roosters and they go. I put roosters on Craigslist and my phone rings off the hook.
