Update-Sylviethecochan was right. All four are hens, and we are now getting three eggs per day. They are still mean as all get-out, kicking the crap out of one... hopefully that will stop. We have 18 youngsters that are close to being integrated, and 11 babies coming up behind them. I understand natural pecking order but I won’t tolerate outright bloodlust.

Oh, and these are by far the nastiest chickens we have!

Unexplained death of one of our Cholas... J-Lo has given up the ghost.
Without cutting her open, I did a thorough examination of her body and can find no trauma.

Poor ol girl, and this isn’t even the one who gets beat up.
