I have two great young ones. I am pretty sure I have one Pullet and one Cockerel. I just wanted some confirmation and thoughts.

Thanks. They were my first hatched and very nice birds. Uno is the pullet and she is very nice. Dos is the cockerel and he is the clown. Loves to be petted. I have a couple of little ones that are about a month behind these ones. They are barred rocks and right now they are separated by a gate so they can see each other. Dos is fine with them. Is it normal for the Pullet to be more aggressive with the young ones? Or is just the personalities of the individuals?

Pullet and cockerel! Welcome to byc!! Glad you could join the Flock! Let me know if you need anything!:wee:woot:welcome:highfive::yesss:
Thanks. I have looked at this website for a while, but I hadn't, until recently, raised the chickens to adulthood myself. I usually gave them away before now. It is very exciting. I have a barn now and I just moved them out to it with the warmer weather coming. I should have at least 7 chickens in total when I am done. Since Dos is a cockerel, I guess I won't have to buy fertilized eggs anymore......lol. I think he did try to crow. At around 7 weeks. Would that be about right?
