    for your chicken industry.

My plans are to get trios and quads of:

    -Porcelain Pyncheons
    -Mottled Cochin Bantams
    -Golden Laced Cochin bantams
    -Buff Silkies
    -Blue/Splash Silkies
    -White showgirls
    -BuffLaced Polish Bantams
    -Build more breeder pens
    -Swamp cooler in my building
    -Get my rabbitry started up
    -Get an incubator!
-Expand the building I keep my birds in

My shed is weird, the birds are raised off the ground (plenty of space no worries) the landlord got made that we kept have bald spots in thr grass in the yard, but thats the way our birds did no matter the space. So we have them on solid floors with hay ontop of a layer of sand. Everyday I let them free range, it just takes forever because I don't want my birds runnign together.

So I want to hear what ya'll are doing. Pictures welcome!

This is my general to do list including all animals:

I am getting chicks next week from my dd's school. No idea on how many or what kind. They have 24 eggs going. I need to build a new and larger run.I still am working on water issues around the shed. I need to add a line of fencing to cut off the dogs from the entire yard.Build a cat enclosure.Build something from my rabid rabbit Jenny(she is so mean).
Trying to talk dh into a harbor freight greenhouse. It would mean an extended growing season for us and the animals.

And since my dh is trying to refi the house that means we are stuck in this home,so I need to make it work better for me and the animals.Maybe another coop in the back. Some bees.Would love a goat...well I hear they need a friend so 2 goats.Hens are first though.Nervous about ending up with a lot of roosters!

You have so many breeds listed. That must be fun having so many kinds. I have no idea what a swamp cooler is,so I am off to look that up and see if it is something I can us.
