I'm not sad and sick and drunk anymore cause Christmas isn't about Santa anymore for me. Now for those who disagree please respect my choice. Just signing preprinted letters for the P.O. Well some of those letters broke my heart. The one from the three boys who each wanted just one thing and one boy only wanted a pair of black socks. That really hit home cause when I was in high school black socks were "in" and I had just one pair that I washed over and over just so I wouldn't get mocked out. And then there was Eileen Castle, I'll never forget her name, I keep that letter posted to my monitor and say a little prayer for her. She writes.

Look, I've been really confused lately. To tell you the truth I've been doughting (sic) almost everything in my life recently.
even that fact that your real. But in the hope that your out there this is what I want for Christmas:
Makeup (just turned 13 !!

I know that you probably can't make the next 3 happen but:

& my godmother & best friend to move back to Auburn from Florida ( I misss them !!

Now I'm not saying you should feel better because poor Eileen has it tough. What I am saying is that we all have it within our power to make "others" lives better.
A kind word, an unexpected hug, just a hand helping to do something or as Eileen wants becoming a better person.
Truth is Rainplace it's not about you its about us, you and me. I need you to be here. And everyone else on this site.
Ya know why antique shops are so full, cause no one ever took it with them. What they did take is the love they were given and what others took was the love they gave.
Remember Rainplace it's not called Santamas, it's Christ mas. Hope ya feel better and if ya get a hang over it's your last.
