Soaking wet chickens!

Mine don't really care for being out in the rain but will go out if it's only a light rain or drizzle. I've yet to see them soaking wet but it slays me to see them out when its below freezing and windy, foraging as casually as if they were on a balmy tropical island.

Just shows you how much more they prefer roaming about outside over being warm and dry and cooped up inside!

most of mine stay outside in the rain, they free range.

I've stretched a tarp over a line and pegged it down, so that they have a sort of tent. I put the food under this on very wet days, so it won't go all soggy and mushy. Although my ducks prefer it this way.

Chickens look funny when they're wet, they'll soon dry out again by morning.

Mind don't mind the rain and seem no worse for wear when they are out in it.
