Soap Makers Help!

I'm going to be making up gift bowls to put on Etsy. The lighting isn't good but these will give you an idea. Tomorrow I will be taking better pics. Please tell me what you think.

They are in a glass decorative bowl with 3 different shades of green wash cloths.

hee hee. That's cute! The garden is named after a long time priest who served the community and advocated for sustainable living. His name was Gordon and thus the garden is named Gordon's Garden.

Here's a picture of the new soap. I colored it with turmeric, which is the source of the speckles you're seeing.

My DH actually put one of them together lol
I hope they do all right when I list them later today. I'm going to weigh all the soaps together and see how much it ends up being. I'll only list the 2 of them for now to see how it goes.

I saw the post about using beer in a hair soap... sounded great...

What about using Pumpkin Ale?? It has the qualities of beer and the spicy scent of pumpkin plus the pretty color....

It's usually a seasonal Ale but I'm hoping to find some at one of the liquor barns.... Any thoughts??

Another question: in the coffee soap, could you use both used grounds at trace and instant coffee added to goat's milk for the water???

Do you think that would work??

I really want the softness from the oil and goat's milk but the odor control of the coffee... it would seem it would come out like a latte....

I was thinking of making a kitchen soap with coffe in it. I would have to get coffee from my in-laws since we don't drink any. lol It will be like calling and asking for a cup of sugar but instead it will be coffee.
