I'm not sure, she wasn't at the Wednesday one either. I think it was a good day because the Texas Reds festival was going on that day in down town bryan so we got a lot of taffic toward the end. I don't know if she was perhaps in that or not. We were going to go see what all was there but were so hot because we forgot the tent,

So we went home.

When you do the 5 for $20 are they getting a discount? I thought it was a great idea but when I told my MIL she gave me the stupid look and said no one would go for that. But then again if I were to have her do the pricing and selling for me she would have people not wanting to come back because of how tacky it would be.

yes it is a discount. Nomally the bars are $4.50 each, but if they buy 5 or more they are $4 each. So if hey have4 soaps picked out, I say for $2 more, they get another bar. Most people get the extra bar. I tried 3 for 12, but not as many people went for it

Does anyone know how hard it is to get lye in Alaska? Can it be shipped through regular mail (Fedex & UPS ground are not an option). It looks like we are moving back to Alaska later this summer. We have been gone almost 6 years and look forward to this. I am going to try and use up the rest of what I have before we go and just take the soap with me.

I was really wishing for a way to escape the heat. I guess this is carrying it to the extreme. I am busy checking out local laws (seem friendly enough if no HOA) and properties that would allow both goats and chickens. My DD has been saving her money to buy a dairy goat. She and her brothers feel in love with goats at the Houston livestock show this year.
