Soap makers Soap SWAP!

I won't be around for Easter so what I was wondering is when we are all sending the soaps. Also if I have to, can I send mine early? I really don't want to miss the swap. I have a neighbor that will be tending to my animals and collecting my mail so as far as getting a package while I'm gone I would be okay there, its just the sending of it that has me wondering.

you can send me yours early I will swap it with the others then send yours back and it will be there when you get back..

I placed a huge order for some 'special' soap supplies for this swap and it hasn't gotten here yet.


Did anyone decide on a date yet?

I think the swap is closing at the end of the month and we have to have our soap sent in by Easter, which is April 12th this year.

It yes until the end of feb to get a real good idea how many.. then we may get to slide one or two in..

But we will be sending around Easter. (to give time for curing)

My supplies came yesterday. I have so many things to play with! I have 3 batches going now.

I made my batch for the swap yesterday! Ninjapoodles had a sneak peek since it's on my Facebook page. No telling, Ninja!

I'll unmold and cut today.

ETA: Don, I think veg oil makes a softer bar and lard makes a harder bar
