Hello, and welcome back to activity at BYC.

Hi BYC community! I joined in June 2022 but have stalked for years lol

I don’t know why I didn’t jump into chickens years ago!? I love them! They are better than dogs and cats and any other pet. I guess we were waiting for more backyard space which we got when we moved to Alta Loma! I’m so happy to be part of this community of happy chicken mommas.

We have leghorns, a white plymouth and a couple polish ladies. We love them dearly and we are looking to add a few more colored egg layers to our flock.

I could care less about egg color but my teenager and surprisingly my husband would like to see colored eggs. They also love the feathered kids

I guess I’ll need to add my coop to another thread - is that the order of things here?
