I remember my Dad was telling me that he gets his pension PLUS ss money (which it was not much because his pension was pretty good).
Does it matter what kind of SS payments you are getting? I have SSD (renewed/reviewed every five years and it is not permanent). That is why my aunt wasy saying if I take the pension, either I wont get my SSD payments anymore, or very very little, less than what I would take in.
