Hi,
My one year old Aylesbury duck has been under antibiotics for bumblefoot treament in the last 3 weeks. She gets oral antibitics as well as an injection into the bumblefoot once a day. There was some moderate improvement initially but it looks like we may need to switch to something else. Or maybe we are losing the battle. And yes I have been using Epsom salts too.
However, my current concern may or may not be related to this.
In the last couple of days I noticed that her bill is somewhat softer and slightly puffy. When I touch it is creases under pressure a little. Overall it feels softer.
I am not sure I am imagining this but could this be related to something new or could this be related to her ongoing treatment? Could it be because she spends a long time in water?
I am more worried than usually have been so far.
What do you think?
Thanks
