Hi everyone,
I have a 2 year old blue jersey giant that stopped eating over the weekend. What triggered it was that she had been laying soft shell eggs and half of the membrane was stuck inside. I tried hot bath, check her vent but couldn’t find the membrane.
She has been pooping small watery poops (see attached photo), walking very slowly, stopped dust bathing, stopped eating, and been sitting or just standing all day.
The vet that had been helping us with this chicken is booked until a week later. I doubt she could make it with the not eating situation. What can I do to help her? At least I hope to ease her symptoms so she is less miserable.
Thanks for you help.
