That mountain is this mountain. I spend a lot of time pointing my camera at it.

They happen all the time. We have not had a total over North America for a while though (2017)

I was in Huntsville for that one. We were not dead center but it covered quite well.

Nah, I ain't traveling over a thousand miles I'm about as far away from the path as you can be and still be in the US. We had a pretty darn good view of the 2017 one though, almost totality.
