Solar Eclipse + Chickens = Blindness?

:frow
Think about it. It doesn't really make sense. Why would a chicken look at the sun? They could go blind from looking at the sun any day of the year.

Just my opinion. There are many threads about this topic.

Ya.....but this time it's an eclipse! Maybe some of them are growing more and more curious. We don't know how these modern feeds are working on a genetic level. We will have to have years of study after this eclipse and the scientists have a chance to collect the chicken observation data.

Maybe the constant queries of why they crossed the road have sparked a desire to know more about the world around them and why they did feel road-crossing urges. Maybe they think the answer lies in the sky.

Excellent, I think I'll apply for a Federal grant so I can do an in depth study of this phenomenon. I expect it should take me about 7 years to complete my study.

Here in Florida. Looking around outside. It seems like I am wearing sunglasses. Everything is dim and filtered like, toned down. I wish the heat would tone down..lol.
I have chicks hatching right at this minute. Are they considered eclipse babies?:lau
