Solar power for my coop - I wanna be Green

Bigger is better, and might help keep the dust down in the coop with that much air movement. heck with a small panel you could even put a water chiller in there and the birds would love it.

Oh I forgot to say. I am trying to save enough to buy a wind turbine for our entire property. Have you considered that?

I had a 12 v. solar panel from Harbor Freight tools kicking around along with a computer fan. I cut a hole at the top of my coop wall just the right size for the fan and connected the solar panel. During the hottest part of the day is when the fan pushed the most air!
