Sold as welsummers...but I don't think so

Hey there! At an auction about a month ago we bid on and won 11 "welsummer pullets". Today, I noticed that they all have black feathers coming in on their breasts. So I posted this picture in a welsummer group asking the question of if we'd been sold a box of cockerels. And they immediately recognized that it has white legs instead of yellow. What breed is this???

Agree, looks like purebred Speckled Sussex. I love Welsummers but I also really love SS. I hope it worked out okay for you, they will be sweet and pretty!!
