I had not intended to sell her but the woman really wanted the bird. When she offered the amount I let the pullet go. She will be a future customer and I breed and sell birds. The pullet lays some real pretty olive eggs too.

They emailed a little while ago and can't be happier.

I doubt something like that would ever happen again but I would not turn it down, feed prices are out of sight in the northeast.

WOW! I have to say, I've had lots of interest in my olive eggers, too! Seems like they are getting more & more popular! I think they're gorgeous - here's my favorite olive egger:

I named her "Sweetie" because she's just THE friendliest girl I have!!

It's a good thing she's feather shanked, because it makes her easily identifiable from the Ameraucanas! Thanks, I think she's pretty, too! I'm partial to the blues.....but those olive eggs sure are fun to have in the egg basket, aren't they?
