Sold my first eggs today

eleven dozen this week,my best week since january,one lady needed 6 dozen,,a regular customer,the others to co-workers,they think $1.50 is a great price for country fresh eggs.I am selling all I can get .I won,t get rich by no means but it helps with the feed bill and I enjoy knowing someone else enjoys ( real)eggs

Congratulations! Isn't it a great feeling? I'm lame enough that I keep a spreadsheet to track how much I've made in egg sales. I sell eggs for $3 a dozen and have standing orders each week. One person I sell 3 dozen to on a pretty regular basis actually gets giddy when I bring her eggs. She works in a pet supply store and shows anyone within sight the eggs. LOL, I need business cards for her to hand out!

I pay $2.00 a dozen (well, until last week, did not get any eggs but my own this week!!!! Finally) and would have paid more.....to get good eggs from truly well cared chickens with in good health and well fed...yah!!! Great idea to charge a little less for returning egg carton!!
