I had originally planned on applying to the village board ( Clifton Springs NY ) for a chicken permit. I wrote a letter detailing everything right down to the chicken breed I was interested in keeping. I was supposed to go to a village board meeting on the 10th. Earlier that day we found out we have a buyer for our house! So, rather than go to the meeting since there's no point anymore, we went looking for other houses. Today we are looking at one again (our 3rd time there) in Marion, prepared to make an offer, and the best part of all, it's chicken friendly!! Wahoo!!
