What I wouldn't do is try and act like a dog, I would not stand over an aggresive dog until it felt so uncomfortable that all it knows is to have a go at me. I do not consider myself knowledgeable enough to try and sort out a very aggresive dog, I would seek good advice from someone who works with understanding the dogs issues and using positive training.
