I have a chick that was pecked on its head down to its skull. It is smaller than a dime and isn't bleeding but it looks bad.
I was hoping someone could give me a little advice on how to handle it. I have some Rooster Booster to stop picking but I'm not sure about putting it on a raw wound. Thanks.

The lable of the Rooster Booster should tell you if you can put it on open wounds.

I would think just clean the wound and put some neosporin on it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. The rooster booster has some really good stuff in it but I think I will just use the neosporin for now. Her scalp is pulled open and I have cleaned it with a solution of water/h. peroxide then with a solution of water/iodine. I had to clean out the feathers that got stuck under her scalp and trim the others so they don't get in there. I think I'd only use the R.Booster on less open wounds. Thanks again.
