Last week we had a chicken die after finishing her molt, she didnt eat and always "slept".
Anyway, now we have another hen starting to molt and she won't sit down, it is freezing cold outside so I put her in an enclosed old chicken coop which should keep her warp.
Do molting chickens act like this? Being grumpy, etc.
ps. This chicken is eating unlike the last one.

She looks like this with all her feathers. And now she has a bare belly, wing and neck.
