Ooooohhhh I want them! I've got hatchery bantam cochins, all blue, and I hope they look even a little bit like yours when they're grown up. Absolutely gorgeous, lucky you.

CiCi is an egg machine.

I can't believe it! And I can't get her to stop laying. It is the wrong time of the year for breeding around here. Double digits below zero all last week with the wind chill. I hope she stops laying soon so she can rest up for the spring season.

I refrigerate all the eggs that I personally hatch...not the ones I ship to others because most folks want them to be fresh. I think they actually stay fresher in the fridge!
