The 2 light pullets and the rooster were white as chicks.... I had 5 white chicks hatch from about 140 eggs.... all the rest were chipmunk coloured chicks

I'm not sure why they have been bred to look like that... I guess it's no different to breeding showgirl silkies... its a "look".
