Debi, you oughta add some ducks to your flock, I'm turning eggs by hand 3x a day and spritzing them with warm water. Course then you've got to wait an extra week.

Debi, Mini Maglite with the LED conversion kit, and the little rubber lens protector is the PERFECT egg candler! The rubber piece cushions the egg while you candle, and you can see through any egg lighter than a Marans. I have candled some Marans eggs with this light, but it is more difficult. I got mine at Lowe's for around $20.

well the dog in my avatar ran off after a rabbit and when i went lookin for her i saw this large black mass laying down and was like *must be my dog* so i buzzed over there on my 3 wheeler and... it wasnt my dog it was a young black mule it got up and kicked at me so i hit the gas and tore off the mule hot on my tail i was doin about 20 and this mule was right behind me then there was this wash in the road and if i slowed down the mule would of gotten me if i kept going i might flip the 3 wheeler ... welll i hit the wash at 20 go 6 feet in the air and kept goin in more pain from the landing that i would of gotten if i got kicked i look behind me... no mule.. found the dog latter though
