Some people! A vent about selling eggs

Wait a minute, those green and speckled eggs are the best kind! He doesn't know what he's missing.

I'd have laughed at him when he made the request, if he had the nerve to make it verbally to my face. If he weren't on the force I'm sure you'd have no trouble telling him you are not willing to go to the extra trouble he is requesting, or, not for $1 a dozen. Guess how you handle it depends on DH's work relationships. Perhaps DH should have some serious input here.

Tell them all that your chicken's union has voted to strike.
Tell them, also, that it appears likely that any new settlement to resolve this strike will likely result in much higher egg prices.

I sent him 3 dozen. Told DH to tell him that if he hadn't made his special request he could have gotten his 4 dozen. DH will handle the rest of the speech, I'm sure.

I know full well what the peace officers in this county make, that's the reason for the discount. The general market here can't handle more than $2.50. They sell for $1.50 at the farmer's co-op.

Although I recognize that's gritsar's husband is a Law Enforcement Officer, I must say this....

When I had my own businesses, I tried to avoid doing business with any of the Three Ps...
they are too used to "getting something for nothing" and almost ALWAYS have to have it "Their WAY".

The Three Ps are:

1. Preachers
2. Politicians
3. Policeman

I wouldn't sell ANY of them eggs for less than double the price...
because they are going to be "double trouble"!!!

Anybody got any FREE Coffee and Donuts?
