Srry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know where to put it and I kinda need to vent
Okay...so my friend's Aunt & Grandma live right down the road from me and her Aunt should NOT be allowed to own animals of any kind!! This woman has no respect for her animals! So I've known this lady for about 2 years now and I've seen her go through so many animals. To get to the point of this ranting...about a month ago she went to the local Tractor Supply store and of course since her 3 year old daughter was with her she bought 7 chicks and then the next day went back and bought 4 ducklings (after hearing me and my friend discussing getting some). She shouldn't have gotten them because she had no idea how to take care of them, at first I thought she might do okay. At first she put the 7 chicks in a box about 2 ft by 2ft with a light, food, and water. Well after a day or so the light bulb went out and she never replaced it...even though I told her baby chicks needed a light for heat source...also she put the 4 ducklings in a little tub with no light at all from day one. She then decided to not clean out the water or food bowls in either of the cages and still never got a light for either one. So now a month later she has 4 chickens (3 died) and 2 ducklings (2 died). If it wasn't for myself and my friend the others wouldn't be alive either, because we go down there everyday and take care of all her animals because she rarely feeds/gives them water. Also about a month ago she had 3 rabbits but 2 have died because of her lack of care and also one of her 2 pet birds died from lack of care. She's also lost a few dogs and cats (from being ran over bc she cant keep them put up or from her children chasing the cats up trees and knocking them out with rocks). She just has no respect for her animals when they are alive or when they are dead and it makes me so angry! She put the dead birds cage outside and let the birds body rot for a month before she finally buried it and she also let the dead rabbits stay in the cage rotting for a few days before she buried them (last year she put her 3 dead rabbits in a grocery bag and tied it to a light post outside her house and left them there for like 4 months). I just feel bad for her animals....I go there every day and don't even ask just go straight to taking care of the remaining rabbit, bird, 4 chicks, 2 ducklings and 3 dogs. I know this is just a random post and wasn't organized much...its just I had to kinda let this out because I'm upset that this woman is doing her animals like this...
