Yes they do. I am not.saying make false statements. All I am saying is tell the truth, they made themselves look bad by denying selling you their product. That not only makes them look stupid, it also makes them look like control freak types if people. They somehow think they have the right to make decisions in how much feed people buy.
Small towns in my opinion are the worst. I lived in the Chicago.area most my life so I know where you are coming from. Now I live in Lebanon missouri population 12,155 and it is so much more dramatic with things like you are having problems with. In the city we didn't place enough trust to let these things happen and then the small town atmosphere sucks us in because we aren't used to it. Don't get me wrong i love it here, I just have learned to act a little more like I did where I came from to keep up a better guard. Just thought I would share I know how you feel is all. One thing I absolutely love here is people still wave when they are driving by. Doesn't matter if you know them or not. Back home people waved and you were asking if you were flipped off. Great difference in my opinion.

Well, I ordered gamebird feed and they never ordered it. Finally did and I picked it up.
Next hatch I ordered gamebird feed early, and they didn't order it and I reminded them. Day before hatch I went to pick it up and they hadn't ordered it. Come to find out he was to busy setting up a new customer - big breeder.

I buy elsewhere. No letter. I did go in to buy a bag of oats (only place around that sells it) and they asked me where I'd been. I just said to a different feed store that actually gets in what I order.

That was the end of it. So drive a little further and stock up with as much as your vehicle can handle, up to 2 months worth. Winters coming on. I would let the kids take their riding lessons, unless you can find another source that is convenient.

that is how it is here, everyone waves at each other, everyone knows each other, everyone knows each others business. I swear sometimes I feel like people know what I am going to buy at the grocery store before I even know...lol...

but its been decided we will be sending them a letter, I will not return there and if asked about the place I will tell them what happened, as for the culprit, when she comes messaging me tomorrow morning like she does every morning I will tell her her and I have nothing else to say to one another after the way she behaved and showed me her true colours!!

I do have a suggestion there. Just as you had to find out why he wasn't selling to you, don't take everything he said as 100% true. Ask your friend her side of the story first, she might have made a comment about you having extra feed one time or another and he took it as stockpiling and ran with it. If you don't like or trust the answer you get at least you will know you took the high road, went to the source so to speak and you won't have questions later.

Personally, I wouldn't even grace them with my presence again, via mail, or in the flesh. They don't deserve an explanation as to why they lost your business. If they can't figure out where $700 a month worth of business is missing out of their books, oh well! The problem is you are the outsider, even after 5 years, so I would take my outsider tail and hit the outside stores from here on out. That so called 'friend' of yours would be facing a very cold individual when she set foot back on the property too. NO WAY I'd put up with that kind of crap for one second! She'd leave a whole lot faster than she came in

and be lucky to not get my foot up her.....

Because THIS is so much like all of the difficulties we all experience in life...I went back and read all of the rest of the "postings".

Writer-of-Words---that darling lady from Deep Southern NEW MEXICO (an "educator"-she is) said the BEST of the comments...Bright gal.
