Some people make me sooo Frigging mad *Rant*

well its been decided that neither of them is worth my time, my money or effort.

As for blowing up at her, she deserved it. I didn't specify on the whole conversation I had with her, but the minute she stepped out of line I put her back on the other side. I might be nice and sometimes naive, but she crossed me and betrayed what I thought was a friendship, so I don't feel bad at all.

because yesterday I only picked up enough to fill half a barrel I went out of town today, it was nice and sunny and my DD had a tummy ache likely from the junk my DH allowed he to have before bedtime :-/ so she came with me.
we went to the co-op the prices are a wee bit cheaper and the selection was bigger. plus they got all sots of equipment and things I could use for the barn and the rest of my animals too. they carry meds so I can make a list and go and pick it up on my next trip.

today I came home with three bags of feed and a bag of oyster shell, but I am happy I went because I was able to purchase a 6x6 heating blanket for my older Labrador who is having some arthritis issues. So DH was happy cause well that is his baby lol....so I will be shopping out of town once per month :)

"she deserved it"

You'll continue to have difficulties, if you think of people in this way.

"Deserved" always will backfire on one eventually.

Seems like some folks should follow their own advice..
Just saying..

To the OP..i dont blame you one bit.. i would have also said something to my friend had she betrayed my trust and friendship. Good job not being a door mat!

i would tell the ranch owner how much you trusted him and how badly he let you down. give him the guilt treatment. tell him i guess i will have to make an hour trip now so my animals dont starve. i have a feeling he will continue selling to you. if he doesnt then say there is plenty of other people who will sell me supplies i need.

One of those cute little saying seem to fit in here...

"Never burn the bridge behind you. You may have to cross
the river again."

Yes I would have been angry. Quietly angry. Never allow your
anger to show, or control you. Get your point across firmly, but
politely. To make me angry is not to your advantage.

To the business owner, he and I would have a private conversation.
Politely, firmly and without names of any third party. If the feed store
wanted to continue doing business with me, they would do it on my
terms.

I misread that as Ornate Food. Perhaps it has glitter or rhinestones throughout.

I understand the point of simply removing contact, but I do think it important to tell tehm WHY they lost a valuable customer. I simiarly stopped going to a feed store, but not because they treated me badly or showed preferance to a different customer. I simply got tired of them being out of stock of the feed I would purchase every two weeks. Found a much more responsive feed store, even though I drive three times the distance. And I was already passing multiple feed stores to get a better product.

I still don't understand the situation at all. It's a feedstore, not Soviet Russia. Just bizarre.
