We've seen a handful of reports from members who can't post in the forum. The engineers have not been able to duplicate or identify the cause of the issue.

If you are having this problem, please try the following:

  1. Leave BYC, delete your internet cache / browser history of files and try again
  2. Send me a Private Message with your browser and version (Like Internet Explorer 8)
  3. Include exactly what you are doing and exactly what is (and isn't) happening.
  4. We've heard that this may be isolated to Internet Explorer, so perhaps try another browser like Chrome or Firefox (both are free)

We are sorry for any troubles this is causing and hope to find a solution soon.

Firefox test

Seems like it is working on firefox, it was not working on Explorer 9. I could do everything except post.

I closed out of BYC, went to my computer, on internet options, I dumped all the temporary files, cached, etc., then set the pop up blocker to allow BYC, seems to have worked without having to use a different browser than Internet Explorer.

Looks like I'm back in business on IE9

Wasn't working last night. This morning the only thing I did was click on the compatibility button. Don't know if that helped or it was already good to go.

Thanks for the info Imp! For anybody else still having problems can you provide more details on where they can find the button and what it does?
I knew I was going to be asked that. So I went and relearned screenshots for the umpteenth time.

It's kinda like a refresh button, but is supposed to help different systems work together. It's the "torn page" button circled in red. Just click on it and the screen will shimmer. Takes a few seconds then the screen will reappear.

Posting hasn't worked since Thurs (IE8). I just clicked on the compatibility button (thanks Imp) and I could post without the work around.
