You can put some electrolytes in their water. About how hot is it there?I will give them some watermelon with some ice to keep them cool. And enough water for them as well. But I am still worried about them during the summer heat wave. Any more suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I keep a little kiddy type pool in there run so they can dip there toes. I also spray the sand in there run down with cold water. frozen berry's work great as well. good luck!!!
Many thanks for your adviceSame here change our water in waterers or add ice if possible. Wading buckets and I spray down run so they know it now and come running right after to step in wet mud. Plus my run is covered which helps.

Can't agree more! Shade and misters must be added!! Thank youI live in a place where we get intense (100+), but dry heat. I found misters and a couple of fans were the right solution. I also have a big pan to serve as a wading pool, but only a couple of chickens use it.
An area of dense, complete shade is really important.
I'm in south Texas and it's 106°F but a humid heat it's been consistently 100+. I put a tray of ice or ice water in there so they can stand in it.Thanks and will try that in no time! LIke102℉
