It's probably the yolk which didn't absorb the way it's supposed to before it hatched. Nothing much you can do about it except hope it absorbs it.

I pm'd you with instructions. My geese pulled their bellies out a bit when they hatched, and I made a little diaper out of saran wrapo and tape and they re-absorbed it.

They are now a week old and fine!

I had one like that. It ended up fine. Just make sure it stays warm and nobody is picking at it.

When you have an emergency please DO NOT PM all the staff asking that they call you immediately. The BYC staff's job is NOT to provide 24/7 chick / chicken support. This is like calling 911 because you lost your keys.

If you have an emergency you can post in the emergency section of the site with a detailed title / subject and with very detailed information in your post.

If it is truly something that you need immediate support, go to your local veterinarian.
